Bust of the Emperor Commodus, right. Lion attacking a horse before a columned and arched building. By Giovanni Bernardi da Castel Bolognese. Bronze. 42 mm. (1.65 inches) in diameter.

Condition: Almost very fine, flatness to the head of the lion.

Notes: An extremely rare original striking, on a thick and heavy flan, the weight of which is 75.50 grammes.
