Conjoined busts of King George VI, crowned, and Queen Elizabeth, left. The crowned monogram of the royal couple. Edge inscribed: 'Det. Chf. Insp. Greengrass, M.M., C.I.D. Hd.Qtrs. Byo. S. Rhod. By Percy Metcalfe. Silver, 39 mm. (1.55 inches) in diameter.

Condition: Extremely fine.

Notes: This medal was awarded for service during the royal tour, whilst in Southern Rhodesia. This is the only named and inscribed example to have been seen. It is contained within its fitted, gilt-tooled, case, the Royal Mint insignia stamped on the inside lid.
