Notes:

Princess Maria Clementina (1702-1735), grand-daughter of John Sobieski, king of Poland, was married to the Jacobite Prince James (III). She was much lamented by Pope Clement XII, who erected this monument on her death: the striking of the medal itself having been ordered by Pope Benedict XIV.
