Bust of Anna Maria de' Medici, to right, richly draped, her hair decorated with pearls. View of the city of Florence; to the left, a river god representing the river Arno, and to right, a personification of the Electress, gathering flowers and about to be laureated by a winged figure, above. By Gioacchino Fortini. Bronze-gilt, cast. 85 mm. (3.4 inches) in diameter.
Condition: Good very fine and attractive.
Notes: Anna Maria Luisa de' Medici (1667-1743), was the second daughter of Cosimo de' Medici and Margherita Luisa d'Orleans, and in 1691 married Giovanni Guglielmo di Neuburg, Elector of the Palatine.
