Bust of William Shakespeare, draped, left. A group of characters from various Shakespeare plays: Prospero and Ariel, Cardinal Wolsey, Lady Macbeth, Falstaff, Poins and Henry IV. By Benjamin Wyon. Copper. 77 mm. (3.1 inches) in diameter.

Condition: Good extremely fine.

Notes: Henry Benjamin Hanbury Beaufoy (1785-1851), philanthropist; endowed scholarships at various academies and gave the City of London School the sum of £10,000.
